Article 2 - Purpose
These general terms and conditions govern the relationship between ADVENTURE VALLEY and its customers regarding the online sale of products and services. These general terms and conditions apply to all purchase/sale contracts for tickets or subscriptions concluded online through the website of ADVENTURE VALLEY.
Customers can only place orders and reservations through the website: www.adventure-valley.be.
Article 3 - Application of the general conditions
3.1. The agreements between the buyer and ADVENTURE VALLEY are fully and exclusively governed by these general terms and conditions, regardless of any conflicting provisions on any document of the customer. The consumer acknowledges that these general terms and conditions have been made available to him, that he has accepted them, and that they contain all the information necessary for entering into an agreement validly and with full knowledge of the facts.
3.2. Reservations made for groups and/or companies as part of "incentive" packages will be supplemented with specific sales conditions.
Article 4 - Information and online booking process
4.1. The information about the products or services that can be purchased on the website of ADVENTURE VALLEY constitutes a sales offer. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the offer is valid for purchases as long as it is available on the website. However, ADVENTURE VALLEY cannot be bound by an offer that contains errors due to reasons beyond its control.
Unless otherwise specified in written agreements, the different services offered by ADVENTURE VALLEY are those listed in the catalog on the website on the day of the order, subject to availability and accessibility conditions as described in Article 9.
4.2. To place a valid order, the buyer must:
- Provide all the information necessary for the proper execution of the order.
- Select the services and activities and add them to the shopping cart.
- Validate the order after verification.
- Acknowledge that he has read and accepted these general terms and conditions.
- Proceed with the payment as provided.
- Confirm the order and payment.
When purchasing ticket(s) via the internet, the buyer must follow all steps. During the ordering process, the buyer must provide specific information necessary for managing his order. The buyer declares that this information is correct and up-to-date.
Article 5 - Rates
5.1. The price of tickets for various activities is indicated on the website in euros, including all taxes. ADVENTURE VALLEY is not responsible for information, prices, and opening hours that do not originate from its official website.
5.2. Anyone requesting a special rate (PMR, senior, child) must be able to prove their eligibility with a supporting document or official document upon entering the park.
5.3. The seller reserves the right to change prices at any time. However, the prices applicable to the order confirmed at the time of the order shall apply.
Article 6 - Payment terms
The buyer is obliged to pay the price at the time of his order according to the conditions described in Article 4. The buyer can choose his payment method in the secure bank interface of the website.
Article 7 - No Right of Withdrawal
Belgian legislation does not provide for a right of withdrawal for leisure services, such as tickets for events or amusement parks, when the service is provided on a specific date or during a specific period. If you wish to change the dates of a reservation, this is possible.
Article 8 - Cancellation and Refund
Any ticket purchased and not used on the specified date is not eligible for a refund. In case of cancellation, this can only be done in the form of a voucher except for events (Mystery Forest, Winter Valley, ...). This request must be made before the visit.
Article 9 - Impossibilities and force majeure
9.1. The accessibility conditions of ADVENTURE VALLEY are particularly dependent on weather conditions and technical conditions of the operation of an adventure park, so that temporary inaccessibility of an activity, attraction, and/or service cannot be attributed to ADVENTURE VALLEY in any way.
9.2. The seller cannot be held liable in any way for the total or partial non-performance of its obligations when such non-performance is due to force majeure or an accident, such as any event beyond its control that it could not have foreseen or prevented and that temporarily or definitively prevents the performance of its obligations.
Force majeure or accidents are specifically considered to be: war, riot, strike, lockout; epidemics and pandemics and the resulting government decisions to close; fire, flood, natural disasters; destruction, malfunctions, or defects of equipment or installations, such as telecommunications equipment, power supply; temporary or permanent suspension or prohibitions, for whatever reason, of access to the internet or telecommunications equipment; attacks, intrusions, viruses, and computer viruses; lack or general lack of supplies or means of transport, such as postal services; lack of raw materials, labor, or energy.
Article 10 - General rules applicable to the stay in the park
To visit Adventure Valley, you need a valid admission ticket. All participants and visitors declare that they are aware of and agree to the following rules, which apply during their entire stay in the park:
- All participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Picnicking is only allowed in designated areas. Making fires or organizing barbecues in the park is prohibited.
- Smoking is prohibited during activities, in queues, on installations, and when wearing safety harnesses.
- Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash.
- Regarding cleanliness, there are many trash cans available, please dispose of your waste there.
- Access to the park may be denied if you wear inappropriate clothing that affects the family atmosphere.
- Access to some attractions may be denied if your clothing poses a safety risk. Flip-flops are not allowed.
- The use of alcohol and drugs is prohibited.
- Aggression and/or sexual abuse will lead to immediate removal from the park and will be reported to the judicial authorities.
- Physical violence and/or threats against the staff of AV and/or other visitors will lead to immediate removal from the park and will be reported to the authorities.
- Carrying or possessing weapons, dangerous objects, or drugs is prohibited.
- You must always fully and promptly follow the instructions of our staff and follow the instructions given on the signs. The management of AV has the right to change the opening hours of the park, its attractions, and infrastructure, or safety rules at any time.
- Portable or disposable barbecue equipment, alcoholic beverages, etc., are not allowed on board the kayaks.
- Lost items: Each visitor is responsible for his belongings. AV and its employees are not liable in any case for stolen, lost, or damaged items belonging to our visitors. Found items are made available to our visitors for 1 month and can be collected at the reception.
Article 11 - Safety and participation rules for activities
11.1. ADVENTURE VALLEY is an adventure park that offers a range of very safe adventure activities for anyone who complies with the safety rules. Each participant is aware of the risk associated with each activity and expressly agrees to accept it. Each participant must be in good physical condition, must not have osteoporosis or heart diseases, must not have taken substances that may affect his behavior (alcohol, drugs, medicines,...), and must be mentally fit. The accessibility of our visitors to the activities depends on the safety rules of each activity. Visitors may be denied access to certain attractions and activities for physical reasons. For most activities, there is a maximum weight limit of 120 kg, in accordance with the safety rules of the climbing equipment.
11.2. ADVENTURE VALLEY reserves the right to suspend the execution of certain activities at any time and without giving any reason for safety reasons.
ADVENTURE VALLEY reserves the right to remove any visitor who does not comply with these rules from the park, without entitlement to a refund.
Article 12 - Parking
12.1. Parking is subject to a fee. Parking tickets are available from the ticket machine in the car park or can be purchased online at the same time as the order.
12.2. Pedestrians always have priority in the car park.
12.3. Lock your vehicle properly and do not leave any valuables inside. The management accepts no liability for theft and/or damage or accidents in the car park.
Article 13 - Liability
13.1. In online sales, the seller is only bound by an obligation of means. It cannot be held liable for damages resulting from the use of the internet network and online payment, such as data loss, intrusion, viruses, interruption of service, or other unintended problems. The data on the site is provided in good faith. The links to the websites of manufacturers and/or partners are for information purposes only and have no contractual value. The seller cannot be held responsible for information from these sites. The buyer is responsible for the choice and use of the product provided by the seller. He declares at the time of the order that he is at least 18 years old. The seller accepts no liability for incorrect information provided to him by the buyer.
13.2. ADVENTURE VALLEY accepts no liability for accidents or damages that occur in the park due to negligence or carelessness of the visitor, non-compliance with safety rules, or failure to follow the instructions of the staff.
Article 14 - Insurance
14.1. ADVENTURE VALLEY takes out all insurance policies related to its activities, in particular to cover its extrajudicial liability for damage to third parties in connection with the operation of the park.
14.2. ADVENTURE VALLEY offers groups an accident insurance in case of an accident, covering death, permanent disability, temporary disability, and medical expenses (see limited amounts in the policy). This insurance is offered at a rate of €5 per person per day.
Article 15 - Drones
Drones are allowed in Adventure Valley under certain conditions. You can request permission via drone@lpm.be. You must have this permission at least 24 hours before your arrival.
Article 16 - Processing of personal data
The customer is informed that the personal data collected and processed in connection with the contract (document supporting the offer or agreement) is strictly confidential. This data is collected and processed for accounting purposes and proper management/execution of the contract and the file related to the delivery of the services ordered or reserved on the site.
The customer is informed that if he does not provide us with accurate data, this may in some cases hinder the proper processing of the contract. If the data is provided incorrectly or inaccurately by the customer, the seller cannot be held responsible in any case.
The personal data provided by the customer is managed by the data processing controller, whose identity is: contact details of the DPO.
The collected data includes the following: Gender, first name, last name, email address, date of birth, billing address. (Any others?)
This data is kept for as long as the online business is active. After the end of the online activity, the data is archived.
In accordance with Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and in accordance with the Law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of personal data, the customer has the right to access, rectify, or delete this data. The customer also has the right to limit the processing of his personal data, object to its processing, and the right to data portability.
He can also object at any time to the use of this data for purposes that are not in line with proper handling of his file, if applicable.
For any questions regarding your rights concerning your personal data, you can contact the person responsible for processing your data.
The seller undertakes to take all appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of customer data. In this regard, he undertakes an obligation of means.

Article 17 - Intellectual property
The intellectual property rights of the site and its elements belong to ADVENTURE VALLEY. The sales agreement concluded between ADVENTURE VALLEY and the customer does not grant the customer any right to the whole or partial exploitation of the elements of the site, in particular the data and photos that appear on it. The customer therefore undertakes not to copy or reproduce the elements of the site, in particular photos, without the prior permission of ADVENTURE VALLEY.
Article 18 - Applicable law - disputes
This agreement is governed by Belgian law. All disputes concerning the interpretation, performance, and/or termination of these terms and conditions or related issues that cannot be resolved amicably shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Marche-en-Famenne in the French language.
